Mostly throwing low 90's FB and change today and not with great command. He then gets locked and cant be hit with good stuff

Lines a single off Ragans FB. He looks in command of everything he swings at. Stays in for 3 AB today. Even his swings and misses look great. He could become a star

Walks 1st batter on 4 pitches. Struggles with FB command in entire outing. 2 walks and a wild pitch in 4 batters. Melendez lines one right at 3b to save him. Not impressive

Doesn’t impress with results but he looks like a ball player. 2nd time up vs Simonelli of KC he is relaxed and takes a 5 pitch walk. Looks like a power hitter in box

Walks 1st batter on 4 pitches. Mixing in change makes FB more effective (at 99 MPH it doesn’t need much help). But gets big K on ugly swing from AA catcher then loads the bases with walks. Then dials up 100 to get out of mess. Overall there is talent here but not much polish

Fouls off many pitches then takes a walk vs Ragans. Vs Avila he rips a ball to LF caught on great play. then in 3rd AB of the day ties the game with a line drive single to LF. He is more than just a steady MI for LV
