Finally shows off his nice batting skills with RBI hit the other way in 6th. Lines out to the track later. I like his cut and eye. Can he turn it into something? He also had some ugly AB.

Nice drive one hop to fence in 1st inning for RBI double. I/O swing or maybe just a little late. He has bat speed and quick hands and hips. Arms not always in sync with body today.

He is late on hard stuff from Downer and also whiffs vs Smith on slider. In the field he doesn’t look comfortable at SS today. Duno hit one through him in their big 4th inning. He hasn’t impressed much

Pops to short LF caught by SS goes as a sac fly. 2 RBI triple in 2nd. Gets injured and leaves in the 4th.

Solid line drive stroke. He has a MLB future if he swings it like that. Did it twice tonight. Picked off by Tanner Smith in 4th and popped out too on the negative side. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Lines HARD to CF in 4th. Rest of night was a yawner. Then whiffed in key spot in 9th. Late swings on velo - not impressed with his eye at all. Seems unathletic at times.

Draws a good eye walk in 2nd. Up with 3 on, 0 out in 4th and lines it the other way for a RBI. Makes a great running catch on blooper on the line to save the 6th. A nice play! Shows good eye vs sidearmer Cleveland. Also played game 2 of DH. Up with 2 on and none out in 2nd and walks the bases full. Has great hips action. Controls hands. And has a good eye

Surprising he is getting to start despite not appearing in orgainzaed ball yet. Chops to 3b in 3rd and whiffs. But he looks confident and composed. He nearly changes the game flying out to the track with a runner on in the 6th. Caught near the wall by CF. RBI single in 8th.
