3 run HR in 2nd breaks the game wide open. Makes a bases loaded diving catch on blooper to save the day in 3rd. Not sure if he has talent to play like this going forward but looking forward to seeing

Fooled badly on chg from Diedrich. Wastes obvious non-challenges as he doesnt have a good eye. He has a nice swing though

Lines it OFF the glove of Condon. Lucky as it should have been caught. But it was a strong swing. Again in 5th he lines a shot off the pitcher who recovered to get him out. Swings are better than boxscores today. He battles in the 7th fouling off hard stuff forcing an 8 pitch AB.

Lines a well placed RBI single in 2nd. Showed bat control on that one. Picked off 1st by Perales. But RBI single hit HARD in 4th. Has good eye does not swing at balls out of zone often. Lines to RF in 7th and singles to RF in 9th. He sprays the ball nicely.

RIPS ir to 3b who stabs it in self defense to start a 5-4-3 DP. Off balance swing for stike 1 then ugly swing for 5-4 force nearly a DP.

He is inconsistant at the plate, but he can really rip it when he gets his pitch. Lined one off the top of the wall in LF in the 3rd.

Facing sidearmer in 3rd chops to 2b. Vs LHP in 4th shows excellent bat control on liner caught at 2b. Gets another chance in 4th and works a nice walk. He has good swing mechanics for most part - sometimes doesn’t fire the hips perfectly. He looks like he will belong.

Short crisp quick swing. Wild swing to whiff in 4th. He still seems to be a sleeper for being a good MLB hitter.

Lined a RBI single in big 1st inning for Glendale. Has a steady and competent swing gets the bat head through fast with quick hands.Reaches to popup to CF to end 2nd. Grounds one down the 3b line on purpose and out on good play by Collier

Pops up to end 4th.Walks in 6th. The puts the game away with a long 3 run HR in 8th. Not great all day today but he remains impressive especailly with mammoth swing in 8th.

He has good hard stuff. Command is good early then degrades including bases loaded HBP in 3rd. Looks the SP part and has the talent. Two cheap hits in 3rd gets him into trouble - works out of it. He has a devastating change. Pulls off on follow through sometimes; that should be corrected

HE is really sharp again. Moving, changing speeds, command. Wow. Might be best start of AFL this year from the best SP. He is really dealing and getting grounders too. He has extremely long stride landing well beyond the dug-out area of other pitchers. I think this guy is the pitching sleeper in AFL.

He shortens the stride hom by a notch it seems. He walks 1st battr. His pitches lack bite tonight and he is mashed for 5 runs in 2 IP with some hard hit balls in 2nd and weak defense in 1st. He needs to get back to longer stride I think.
