Excellent lower body torque. Has a strange bat behind his back stance but he gets into place before the pitch comes. He has level stroke with great bat speed and takes walks. Whiffs twice by swinging early on quick swings though

Lines a double in 3rd. He has great swing. But his eye is questionable. He asks for review on obvious strike. Then swings at one at his ankles to whiff

Launches game leadoff HR off Amalfi. Really quick hands and hips. Reminds of Corbin Carroll. Great eye too. Walks in 2nd AB of game and easily steals 2b. Scored on next batter. Leads off the 5th with a patient walk. This guy can do it all. Goads pitcher into balk even. He is very impressive

Bat is quick once more. Fantastic eye. Flies to middle of track and then one hops 1b with IF hit in the 5th. He has a lot of talent and can flick a HR just with super bat speed and a great eye

Lines to 2b in 1st. Whiffs on chg in 3rd in his worst AB of the AFL. HBP in 6th and steals 2b. Plays game 2 as well. He drops out #3 on easy flyball in CF in 1st of game 2. What is wrong with him today? Leading off in game 2, Played to hit it the other way to LF and he walk s vs semi-knucler of Serwa. His focus is NOT there today despite a rocking triple in RC gap. Pops it to LF in 4th on late swing. Really a bad day for him.

Lines a shot stabbed at 2B. He has been unlucky and is not swinging it well 2 days in a row. But that changes in 4th with a ROCKET off the wall in RF for 2 RBI. He is sitting dead red vs Lara in 6th and fishes at sinker. That seems to be his kryptonite. Gotta lay off those by seeing them better.

Up vs Sinnard in 3rd with 2 walkers on base and 2 out. Frozen by nice chg. Next time works to 3-2 count before high heat blows him away. Great raw skills, but a little polish will help

Still has a great swing. Rips a leadoff single to RF, Hips are a tad earlyon fould in 2nd AB then strikes out. Lines a solid gap shot for what should have been RBI in 5th but Sosa stopped half way to 3b. Steals 2nd

Worked a nice walk in 4th. Rips a one hop single to RF leading off the 6th and steals 2b immediately. Steals 3b with one out. Goes home on a wild pitch to give Peoria the lead. He got game in all ways but nothing stands out as remarkable. Just a good ballplayer

Lines 1st hit for either team in 4th. He throws the ball from the track to home on the fly dropped by catcher. Quite a throw! He drops a double down the LF line in 6th too. This guy can do it all.

Shows patience today but not hitting weel. Whifffs on change looking FB. Terrible play in CF cost Peoria the game and 3rd place. Pop up he comes in and stops (why?) and it falls for a game tying double. Next batter scoots a single into LF to give Mesa the lead. IN 7th he walks on 4 pitches as pitcher doesnt want to deal with him getting a make-up swing.

Ambushes 1st pitch rips FB to RF for a double. Did not get good take on his mechanics today but that was one impressive ambush. Rest of the day nothing special

Lines a really nice looking single to CF in 2nd. Pops out to end 6th inning threat with good sliding catch in RF. At least he got a hit.

Not imposing. Long swing, easily fooled. Swings at ball in dirt past catcher and is safe. When he connets he has enough bat speed to drive a hit. Does it twice in row to RF both times. Makes nice catch in foul ground in 5th with 2 on. His best game easily that I have seen here. But his raw skills dont overly impress

Nice other way single to RF leading off the 4th. Grounds in t force out at 2b in the 5th avoiding the double play with exceptional hustle down the line. Then he steals 2b and goes to 3b on another error by SRR.

Hard hit ball but out on good play by 1b. Lines a solid single to RF in 4th. Quick bat / hands through the zone fast hips too. He mechanics are great needs to improve pitch selection

LONG HR to RF. RF just watched it go almost out of the stadium. He has a great powerful swing even if it is slow to the ball sometimes. But when he squares it the bat speed will do the work. He is hot today lines a single in 4th and then bloops a ingle. His big day.

Strikes out swinging in 2nd. Leads off in 6th and lines it hard but foul. Gets his hips moving early and it pays off with a triple to the wall in CF. His swing looks better today
