He is in for tie game in 8th in AFL semi final. Throws 8 of first 9 pitches for balls. He brings it at 97+ but no command. Until bunt gets out #1. Then he turns into strike mahine and escapes the mess in 8th.

Pops to CF leading off the game. Quick hands. Hips are controlled and sometimes not engages as hands do the placing of hit late. No power here but he makes excellent contact. Drops a single to RF in 5th leadingoff. Steals 2nd, goes to 3rd on a bad throw and scores on another bad throw. Hustle kills. Gotta love this guy. My question is: how did he slug 510 in AA?

Draws 5 pitch walk by Mahomes to leadoff game. Picked off on great move but 2b dropped the ball. He swings at low FB on 3-1 count in 2nd and then swings through FB to end another threat. Pops out to end the inning in 4th. Bases loaded walk in 7th. Not as impressive tonight.

He sees the ball well. Just misses double down RF line foul liner on line. Gets walk on request overturn. Strikes out swinging to strand 2 in scoring position in 6th. He has a great eye but not a scary swing.

Flies out deep to LF he hit it very well. 2nd AB he lines a solid single the other way. Barely safe on steal try. Makes a nice running catch in RF in 4th and a spectacular catch robbing a HR in 6th. In 5th he RBI dubles off the wall. He has a very strong contact.

Eye is good, he reads the ball out of the hand. Doesn’t like to swing at off speed. Draws walk in 3rd and 5th both on 3-2 couts. He knows the zone with eye.

Pops up to 1b. He is late tonight vs Mahoney. However, not against Diamond who he fools him with a change. Fires his hands nicely, hips are slower sometimes (not always). Catching was spotless which is rare praise indeed in AFL2025.

Hits into routine 4-6-3. Ugh. He allows several passed balls / wild pitches so catching isnt so good tonight. Swings and misses late several times too. Not a great bat today either. Walks on 4 pitches vs Wheat and on 6 pitches vs Rodriguez. All told, he walks 3 times in the game.

Flies to deep straight way CF and caught at the 410 sign on track. He popped that one! Fumbles pitches and has a weaker arm today. But blocks balls well. And he takes a walk in the 5th to keep a big rally going.

Just missses a jack in 2nd caught by CF. Grounds a single to RF in 4th. He has a quick powerful batt with ideal mehanics. He is the real deal. See the ball well and puts in play in addition to power. His low pitch swing has the typical loop but not extreme and just allows him to hit it HARD. He can be fooled by change. Walks in 8th.

Draws a walk to load the bases in the 5th. But he did it in the 9th. With one and and 2 out he JACKED it off the wall for a walk off game winning hit. He can drivve it and the pitcher supplies 98 MPH on FB.

Flies deep to RF in 3rd. Late on FB but SOE. Bobbles grounder, snags it out of the air and gets the out at 1st. He has the great reaction instincts to play 3b. Eye is amazing so far but he whiffs at fastball in dirt today. Vazquez singles off Diamond in 6th on solid AB. In 7th he LAUNCHES a grandslam to give Surprise a 12-11 lead. This dude has bat speed and a great eye and bat path and mechanics. Wow, my favorite underrated guy alongside Clohisy.

Steals 2b. He is really good. Line SHOT up the middle in 7th caught just a split second later by P. THAT was an unfortunate catch for Vazquez.

Lines on one on a qucik hop to 3b in 1st. Solid contact. Quick bat. Sees the ball well. He is a good mathup vs Serwa who gets scard with how he sqaures him up and walks him up and inin 3rd.

He has a great cut twice in row to start game. But the HBP yesterday looks to still be affecting him as he isnt running as hard. He is slow coming in on chopper but gunned it to 1b in time. Umps called it foul.

Beats out a chopper to 3b in 3rd. He can run, hit for power and line singles all over the joing with quick swing too. He looks like a star. He makes a bad baserunning mistake in 3rd that is costly. Next time up he leads of with a walk against Koen Moreno who is dealing. Flies to deep RF in 9th.
