RBI single up the middle in 1st. Nice swing and great bat control. Fooled on lateral movement sometimes. He makes a great play on slow chopper to 3B. He isnt star but looks like a real MLB guy.

He offered at a ball to a kid hanging around the on deck circle where he was. Nice touch - if unfocused move at that time. Another kid was promised the next one. Legs out IF hit, he hustles down the line. Pops up swinging at 3-0. Ugh. Still contact is there when he doesn’t go for the downs on 3-0.

Hits into DP and pops to rf both with runner on. Isnt hitting well today. Bad high throw in 5th creats an error. He looked more comfortable at SS than 2B. In game 2 he is up in 1st inning vs knuckleballer Serwa. Legs out IF hit in 3rd and 4th innings. Not a great day but he isnt terrible when he isnt good.

Lines it off the wall in the bottom of first he has a great cut at it again. Lined it over the 3b for another hit in 3rd. This guy really hits the slow stuff especially tonight when he is looking for it. Up with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out in 5th takes strike 3 for out #2. Cant get a bunt hit in 8th. Bunted too hard

Whiffs vs Winston Santos. In field he sets and throws a 1 hop out from the hole. Arm isnt great but poise and accuracy were excellent to get a non hustling Vazquez (still hurting from HBPP yesterday). Takes 3 strikes on 3 pitches in 6th guessing wrong.

Made 2 back to back super plays at 1b. Then nearly looses foot race to 1b - should have tossed it. At bat, he is behind on mid 90's and was furious about it. He is trying hard and might be pressing

Tries to guide one up the middle instead of a full swing. Admire bat control but uses this approach too often. He swings wildly to whiff in 3rd and pulls off the ball in 5th. He too often steps into the bucket - notably in 6th. Swing then becomes all arms and no body

Half swing trying to guide the ball but didn’t get it solid and was out. Struck out on bad pitch in 4th and whiffs swinging to end the game too. His hips were out of sync today.

Inside out to 3b side for a single. Great idea and execution. Winds up scoring on alert baserunning with bad throw by McGonigle. He is a good hiter and shows good baseball instincts. But doesn’t have light tower power usually wanted for 1b though. Pops up to mound with 2 on, 1 out in 6th. Ugggh. Pops up vs Serwa in 1st to end the inning. Chops to SS in the 3rd. Not seeing Serwa wel but loves to hit Lequerica getting a 2 RBI double cracked to RF. He thrives vs the FB today.

Pulling off the bal in AB in 4th. Self corrects and drives one over the CF head for RBI double. Hits a LONG fould ball to RF that is almost a HR. Then strikes out. He is close but still inconstant at time.

Line drive machine - doubles to LF wal on a hop in 2nd. In 4th he rips a liner to RF for ANOTHER hit. In 6th he has his best AB yet. Was guessing FB, got the change, he held his bat just before it entered the zone and lifted one to RF cornet that fell for a double near the wall. That is a really advanced hitting skill and he looked good executing it. I really like this guy. They just walk him in 7th to load the bases with 2 out and Peoria down 3.

He chops out to 3b. Bat is quick. Doubles to LF in 3rd. Singles to LF in 5th. Easy comfortable swings. Does appear to be trying for power his frame suggest he should have

Lines out to 2b. IN 4th,lines a single to RF, error in RF causes a run to score from 1st. Puts the ball in play hard regularly. Saved the 5th inning with a pair of brilliant blocks at C with bases loaded. Duno can do it man - best hitting AND fielding catcher in AFL 2025. He has a superb eye, rarely chases. Fouls off 5 pitches in one AB in 5th before a nice walk. Defensively, he is good at blocking balls and has a CANNON for an arm nailing a bunt try.

Vs Serwa Knuckle ball in 1st inning he POUNDS it deep to LF down the line for RBI double. A tremendous ability to wait and adjust. He has a very strong swing with good hips and hands, rare in a guy SO LARGE. Strikes out swinging in the 3rd. He makes excellent blocks at home. His fundamentals are incredibly good at plate and behind it. Lines a single off SS glove for RBI in 4th

He is big and strong and quick, Very athletic. Incredible bat speed, great mobility and arm behind the plate. With runner on 3b, they want nothing to do with him walking him on 4 pitches not close. Executes the double steal with Anderson allowing Anderson to score from 3rd when they throw through and he stops. Then Duno goes to 3rd taking advantage of catcher Duran wild throw for another run. Super quick bat lines it HARD all the way to track but that is where the LF was playing him

Flies to CF in 2nd. Works a nice AB for walk in 4th. Walks to load the bases in 5th on off day at plate. When he swings he unleashed a lot of bat speed - shown on deep foul in 6th.

Grounds easily to SS with 2 on to end the 3rd. Has timing on against Denholm but cant adjust to square up movement. He looks bad a plate all gaem with K looking and an oh fer. Works a walk in 8th to put 2 on. Patient AB.

What an AB in 1st. He looks terribnle taking 2 strikes in 2 pitches.But he is ready on pitch three with a great bat speed and fundmentally sound swing for a long HR. After first 2 runners in 1st reached he made it 3-0 in top of t Then in 9th he MASHES one 2/3 the way up the berm in Lhe 1st.Then he cranks another 2 run HR in the 5th. He is winning this game by himself. In 7th he gets HBP and is not happy. pitcher removed immediately. in 9th he launches it 456 for his 3rd HR of the day. 2nd HR was 453.

Starting vs Glendale. Allows a 1st inning run. But he is really bringing the heat. 123 2nd thanks to big play by by Collier. Only tosses 2 innings but he looked healthy and sharp to me, 2 IP, 2 hits, no walks, 3 K, 1 run.
