Not impressed as I am supposed to be. Late too often and - bat isnt explosive. Doesn’t get many chances on defense. Walks leading off 4th and scores. Late on low 90s fastballs with 2 on and none out. Ooof. Loses 2 cahllenges in same AB.

Grounds out weakly to SS. Bat looks slow in early AB. Upw tih 2nd and 3rd 2 out in 4th. Both runs score on wild pitch and wild throw. Clean stance. Nice cut. Slow hands. A little late hips is fine, hands are slow on next pitch. And again he is slow to ball fouled deep the other way. Strikes out swining on slider away. His pitch selection was not good today. Hands look slow at times but on point on others. Depends on how he judges the pitch. Plays CF very well. Takes a walk in 8th.

UP with a runner on 3b and 1 out in 1st. Chops to 2b who wanted to go hom e but double clutched. Braden is out. He slightly brinds kenees into the center before he starts the swing instead of stride. Lifts leg and puts in back down in that motion. Gets great hips action. Hands not as quick. But it all works well on a line single to RF in the 7th. He has a nice swing but timing of seeing it misses a lot of times. Eye?

Patient with hips. Sees the ball well today. Gets jammed in 4th. Late in 5th as he has trouble timing it up. Chops to P for an out.

Tries to pull most everything with quick but uncontrollable bat. He chases down and in offspeed for K in 6th.

Draws a walk in 1st. Lines HARD to RF in 3rd on a good hip and hands swing. Hits the 2b bad on grounder in 5th that puts Glendale on top. Hustles hard to 2B while the fielder loaf after the ball.

He has the big hit in game lining a double up the RC alley on a high fastball. Scores on sac fly teoo to make it 5-3. He has a quick bat when he can make solidc ontact. Lines one right at SS to end the 6th -good contact good fundamentals.
