He is short to ball, good hand and hips. Eye is good and he is confident in it. Draws a walk on slider and again in 3rd both leading off. He crowds the plate. Bobbles ball on 6-4-3 DP and only gets one, run scored against Mesa. He is terrible on hot shot planting his feet and missing the play. He needs a lot of work on glove. He muffs a grounder in 3rd that leads to anotther 3 runs when Adams double follows. But he is a pesy batter despite whiffing looking in 6th

Bad contact to end 2nd. He lets a grounder eat him up for a 2 RBI error. He can still see the ball at the plate - Lines a single to CF on nice cut. Bat is ahead of his glove. Maybe better at 2B where recovering from bobbles is easier? Reminds me of a young Jazz Chisholm.

Leads off with walk and promptly gets picked off. Lines a solid single to CF. He has a VERY quick bat and great hitting mechanics. His problems he is having in the field he doesn’t bring to the dish.

He puts the ball in play for an out early. Chops to mound for another easy out. Strikes out swinging on ugly AB in 5th. Strikes out swinging to end top of 7th. Boots a groundball getting back on his heels leading off the 7th inning.
