RBI single up the middle in 1st. Nice swing and great bat control. Fooled on lateral movement sometimes. He makes a great play on slow chopper to 3B. He isnt star but looks like a real MLB guy.

Infield single drives in a run. Mr. Contact man strikes again. He strikes out himself in 4th. Lines HARD to CF to end the 5th.

He offered at a ball to a kid hanging around the on deck circle where he was. Nice touch - if unfocused move at that time. Another kid was promised the next one. Legs out IF hit, he hustles down the line. Pops up swinging at 3-0. Ugh. Still contact is there when he doesn’t go for the downs on 3-0.

Hits into DP and pops to rf both with runner on. Isnt hitting well today. Bad high throw in 5th creats an error. He looked more comfortable at SS than 2B. In game 2 he is up in 1st inning vs knuckleballer Serwa. Legs out IF hit in 3rd and 4th innings. Not a great day but he isnt terrible when he isnt good.

Looks upgly swinging at high strike 3 in 3rd. Safe on SS erorr in 5th. Doubles down RF for a 2 RBI hit on nice swing pull in 6th.He has some contact skills but doesn’t look like a star

Lines it off the wall in the bottom of first he has a great cut at it again. Lined it over the 3b for another hit in 3rd. This guy really hits the slow stuff especially tonight when he is looking for it. Up with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out in 5th takes strike 3 for out #2. Cant get a bunt hit in 8th. Bunted too hard

Cant beat out grounder to 3b in 1st or SS in 4th. Pops to CF for 3rd out with bases loaded in 5th.

Whiffs vs Winston Santos. In field he sets and throws a 1 hop out from the hole. Arm isnt great but poise and accuracy were excellent to get a non hustling Vazquez (still hurting from HBPP yesterday). Takes 3 strikes on 3 pitches in 6th guessing wrong.
