Works a walk leading off game, then SB. RBI liner to LF in 2nd. Show range and arm in 4th. Not a lot for boxscore but he can play and hit a little too.

Hits HR off sidearmer Cleveland in 3rd. Makes a terrible challenge in 4th which show poor eye. But he has nice cut when pitch is in there. Bloops RBI single in 4th. Not as good as his stats today as hits were cheap. Draws a good walk in 5th.

Swings at ball in dirt to reach on wild pitch. That wasn’t planned. Restrains hips then fired quick and late. Hands are too slow sometimes. He is called out for running out of the line on strike 3 not caught. Hands are on time leading off the 5th for a line shot single. And with 2 out in 6th for same result. How will he play against MLB velo? His core mechanics are fine at plate and field when he works it all together.

Laces a hard shot double down the LF line with a nice i/o cut. Solid single to CF in 9th.

Drops a line drive single into RF leading off the game. Flies deep to track in 3rd. Dude has a bat man. In 5th he ties the game with high fly to LF that just carries out for a HR. Love his bat speed. Lines a single to RF in 7th. More than a little impressed today with his controlled bat speed and level cut. Scores a huge insurance run with PB.
