Quick bat today. Walked on 5 pitches, whipped single to LF in 4th. His mechanics are all in sync. Leaks a single into RF for RBI in 5th. Bounces into tough DP in the 7th on hard hit ball. He looks the best I have seen him here today.

Hit it hard right at 2b. Then with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out he strikes out looking bad. Pops up in 5th. Bad day.

Lines a nice single to LF in 2nd. Strikes out in 6th but NOT overturned by a whisker. He walks instead today. Takes a nice hack at some Serwa junk but routine flyout is result. And makes final out on 2 hopper to 2b (not a bad cut). First to face Lequireca in 4th with 2 on. He RIPS a RBI double off the wall in LF on big hit. BANG. Skills are obvious.

Has a lot of trouble knocking down balls at plate as catcher. He gets worse as game goes on. At bat he rips a liner down RF line with a good eye and swing. Clutch 2 out 2 RBI hit to LF on a lione in 4th. RBI single to CF in 6th. A nice night at plate for sure he looks good again tonight. But he needs work to be a catcher.

Works a leadoff woalk in the 4th. It was a great AB vs Ricardo Estrada. He takes a 3-2 pitch with bases loaded and challenges the strike call AND wins. Forces in a run with bases loaded walk.
