Great play at 3b saves a 3rd straight double for Glendale. Has a big role in game winning rally for Surprise. Fouls deep to RF, LF, and straight back before launching the game tying 2 run HR in bottom of 9th

Leans body towards pitcher as ball comes in - not just in his swing. His balance is a ? for me. Not sure why he does this. He is off balance again in field allowing a foul pop to drop looking unbalanced. Looks really bad in field on other plays. But somehow he squares up pitches hitting one off the wall in RF for a 2 RBI double in 3rd. His swing starts with bat over his head - doesnt help improve his balance. But he generates bat speed

Still very stiff and lunging at plate. But a LOT less pronounced today.

He may look gangly but he can hit with quick bat and good eye. Lines single in 2nd. Flies deep to CF TWICE to track. He also looks good at 1b making an athletic play for out. His stance and approach at plate has improved drastically over 3 weeks too. No more body lunging now he is balance on back leg. Nice. And WOW with raw skills unleashed.

Grounds out to 1b in 1st. Just misses in 4th. He swing is much improved. And he proves it emphatically in 7th with a Line SHOT HR to LF to untie a 7-7 game. Hit in foot with pitch in 8th. He was down a bit but got up.

Gets slow and slower stuff from Silwa. Grounds out to 3b to end the 1st. Challenges strike 3 and wins. Then rakes a FB to LF for a single.

Takes 2 walks, steal;s a base, he is STILL much improved over the start of AFL.

Lines a single in the 2nd and steals 2b on terrible hold by pitcher. Gets a H&R hit when Vazquez grounds to hole vacated by 2b to cover. If he did that on purpose it was so cool.
