In to pitch 4th inning. Allows RBI double to Pinto on 1st pitch. Stays in for 5th. He isnt impressive with stuff but he keeps getting the job done at least for his 1st IP

On in bottom of 7th with a 6-5 lead. Gets tough batters in Wilken and DeVries and allows a popup down RF line that falls in to tie the game on a good pitch. Wow.

Lines a double the other way in the 1st off a struggling Monteverde. In 3rd he rips a gapper cut off for a single. He has a future perhaps but dowsnt look like a star to me

Lines a FB to the wall for RBI double in 3rd. He can really turn around a Fastball. There remains some hope for him to be the next Profar.

Takes a nice controlled approach at the plate and lines a single to RF. Second time up he does it again and runs aggressively to turn it into a double. Takes third on medium deep fly and scores on wild pitch the whole sequence again showing his speed. Wow. Maybe he really is getting it now - everyone needs to beware if so. Laying off stuff that is too low or outside. He has a lot of raw talent still buried in there. Here is hoping it is finally emerging

Starts out with ANOTHER liner to LC for a hit in 1st. Man who is this guy and what have you done with the guys who swings at every pitch at his ankles. He doesn’t do it today or the last 3 days EVEN ONCE.

Nothing special. He pitched efficiently but didn’t get through unscathed thanks to a big hit by Rosario. Horizontal movement is effective.

On in 5th with a 9-3 lead. He throws with stilted motion arm comes through well after body so too much on arm. Throws 3-2 pitch way over the catcher to backstop to load the bases. Better command of change than FB tonight and uses that to excape unscathed. Still not impressive

On for 8th with a 3-1 lead vs DeVries and top of the Peoria order. Dominates this time. His stuff and approach are interesting to me.

An impressive swng, he lines out fo deep CF for sac fly. Times up 8th pitch to him by Barnhart in 3rd for RBI single too. He has a good approach to AB's.

Lifts off in first AB since his All Star / HR derby win for a 2 run HR to LF. Boom he is on that fat fastball. Rest of the day nothing. That is who he is - a likely 200/300/500 guy

Flies out to track in LF with 2 on and 2 out in 2nd. Ends the game flailing at 98 from Church. He is a big guy 6'4". And plays like it. With a swing out of whack at times and extreme raw power at others.

Getting bad swings in the 1st inning and 2nd. Helps him survive 5 hits over 4 innings including 2 doubles without allowing a run. More effective than impressive. Still the best of the pitching tonight in SRR. He is one to watch for sure.
