Single off the handle after being jammed. Late vs Acuna early in AB then one handed fouls to stay alive.Then swings at 3-2 hange for whiff. Last AB he pops it up to CF.

HBP and stole 2b. He has easy speed. Walked again the 4th. Lined a double to LF line in 6th. And a 2 RBI ground rule double in 7th. Dude is a stud and a likely star with eye, bat speed and athleticism. Impressive!

Pops up to end run scoring inning. On in tough spot in 7th and crushes it down RF line….just foul. Then taps it in front of plate and beats the throw to 1b by pitcher who was too casual. Hustle, speed, power - shows it all

Whiffs on 86 chg. Nice pitch by Kent. Worst AB ive seen in AFL by DeVries. Then blasts a HR to RC off Kent to break up a 4th inning no hitter. Next time up he takes a wild hack at change then grounds out. Base running mistake in 7th too. Not his best day

He has a sweet cut. Lines it down the RF line in 3rd foul by an inch. Two pitches later a solid single to CF do drive in a run. He is an amazing hitter when the ball is hittable

Lines out to deep RF in 6th. He cant touch Santos. But in 8th he pops up again vs Johnson. He is a dead pull hitter only and is pulled way over vs him on defense. He looks like he should be able to go the other way but he pulls hips every swing. He has talent, needs to refine his hitting

Lines out HARD to RF in 6th. In 9th with 2 out he swings at ball at his ankles and takes strike 3 down the middle. He still needs work on seeing the pitches better for better swing decisions

He fouls off two pitches that he lined for hits earlier this fall then takes strike 3. In 2nd try in 3rd he again is missing pitches he had been hitting 2 weeks ago. Pops out. Then he rises up in 6th with a long HR down the LF line that rolls over the brim. Off Prosecky the only effective arm used by Salt River in game.He is going to be good when he is not even if not consistent. Pitch selection improvements and more consistent mechanics are key. He is SO young that he could become the next Merrill in SD

He has a really bad pitch selection today. Makes last out of 9th on broken bat and stayed in the box. He looks really unmotivated and lacking talent too

Peoria has 2 SDP catchers on Peoria including Salas and him. He allows a pair of wild pitches with poor blocks. Grounds a single up the middle on 3-1 count in 2nd. Grounds into a 6-3 DP to stymy a rally in 6th.

SP.People sitting on his breaking stuff. His movement is good but without FB oppo batters sit on it. FB doesn’t reach 90. Curve is always ball. Allows 3 runs on 5 hits in 1st. His command is much better after 1st as is his stuff. Goes 4 IP with 1 more hit allowed

He has a nice cut even on foul offs. Shaded to pull on IF. Nice AB ends in a walk after 5 fouls. 2nd time up with basesloaded he pops out on 3-1 pitch. Ugh. Swing is clean though and his eye is great he reads pitches like a pro. Can be late on heater but shortens swing with 2 strikes each AB and draws 3 WALKS. His eye is MLB ready

Lined single to CF. Gunned down Acosta stealing in 2nd on deense. Whiffs on high FB in 3rd. Lines single to RF. Lines a solid single to LF in 7th, Dude is a beast with the bat speed and approach. Then gives up 3 WP/PB in one inning in 6th in disastrous 7 runs on 1 hit inning and winds up with 5 WP/PB in game. That is not good. It carries over to his final AB with ugly fishing K

Looks off today. Gets some bad strike calls and doesn’t hit in 2 of 3 AB. Groundout scores a run in 5th. Singles on blooper to LF in 7th. He doesn’t impress at plate today until the 9th when he tries to go the other way against the legal shift. Then he is frozen by inside FB for a K. He has work to do to be ready for show.

Lines a solid single the other way to LF. He is hitting well for the most part this year. Also steals 2b. On defense a perfect throw on a SB try with runner from 3b out on a 2-6-2 play.Flied to track in 6th. He is amazing at his tender age.

DH today. Lines out to the track in 1st nice cut - AGAIN. In the 4th he lines out to CF AGAIN a good cut. Gets frustrated with bad call and takes strike 3 vs Harris.He has better swings than results until the 8th when he launches a 2 run HR off Johnson to tie the game at 3-3. Against sidearmer Abney of Cleve/Surprise he strikes out swinging to end game in 10th. He is a special bat even more so for a catcher. WOW.

Up in 1st with one on and 1 out. Lines out HARD to CF. Another excellent AB. He is DH today and sees the ball as well as anyone in AFL and makes good contact quite often.

Rips RBI single to CF in Fall Stars debut. Ugly passed ball in 2nd and Corbin steals at will vs him. Then Salas steals 2b! As with the enitre fall - arm is amazing, bat is amazing, but stopping pitching mistakes is amazingly bad

Ugly half swing leads to an easy 6-3 DP to end 1st. Late on FB in 3rd and 6th for K. He looks way off at plate but much better defensively at catcher tonight. He is still only 18 afterall. Wow future.

Draws a walk off Bragg in 2nd on Bragg's command slump. He has 2nd AB in 2nd inning against Abner this time and takes strike 3 to end the inning as the tying run. In the 6th he hits a hanger off the wall in RF for a double.
