A short guy but he is a pitcher. He show plus plus command on 1st batter in 6th. Gets ugly swing on change in dirt by Szykowsky. Gets an easy 123 inning vs Scottsdale which hasn’t happened tonight. And did another 2 up and 2 down in 7th before hitting Jett Williams then issuing a 5 pitch walk looking out o sync. His location and pitch mix is superb the rest of his outing including striking out Williams to escape with a nice pitch mix. For a guy his size he does well

He looks strong early with good command and stuff in 1st. Has some command issues in 2nd. His velo and stuff isnt good enough when command isnt there and he gets bases loaded and 1 out and allows a grand slam to Dalvy Rosario and puts 2 more on. From in complete command to out of the game in 2nd with 3 walks and a grand slam allowed

He looks impressive. First swing is level and lines RBI single to LF. Cut is smooth and controlled.

Line single to RF in 1st and lines it into LF in the hole in 3rd again. He is having a nice day. He is athletic and strong but needs to improve pitch swinging choice. Again Singles in a run in 6th. He is impressing with control of his raw skills for production

Injured leg and came out of game. Has a smooth line drive cut but he isnt exceptional at it

Great eye on display again with walk in 3rd. He is going to be a baller not a star. But I like him.

Up twice in big RBI spots but wild pitch ends one of them. Makes an easy out both times with poor swings. He is inconsistent but oftern quite good - just not tonight

Takes strike 3 in 3rd and challenge confirms it easily. Really a poor choice of pitch to challenge. At 1b he misplays a hard grounder - he needs work on IF to become a utility guy.

On to escape mess in 2nd. Change is 76. Slider is 89. Distracted by runner on 3b and hits a batter. Then allows a one handed bloop single to Baez. 2 run rally from wildness by Hughes. King pitches well in 2nd but is in the fat of zone too much in 3rd and gives up 3 soild hits to start the inning before a Sundstrom grannie. Needs to add command outside the hitting zone please. Also slows down velo in his 2nd inning and gets hit.

On in 4th to escape a jam. First pitch change for a strike. He gets a whiff to end the inning on 3 pitches. But in the 6th he gets rocked for a HR, solid line drive single, and a double off the wall.

Boots an easy ball at SS. Bat is dead in 1st and 2nd AB. Not a fan of his "rocking chair" swing, seems to make him late. He lines a gapper run down by Hamiton in 2nd. Popped up to LF and it barely landed fair for ground rule double. He isnt impressive

Ugly error in 5th on throw to 2b for force to try to start a 4-6-3. Run scores as a result of his error. At the plate he is still very slow to get bat into zone with big sweing setup- even on a single to drive in the run

Looks really ugly in bat making final out of 6th on popup after ugly whiff in prior AB. I still cant see his bat as a 50 prospect

Pops up another hittable pitch in 1st. Strikes out swinging in 2nd and the 4th as his struggles continue. Takes it out on the bat rack. Hasn’t shown the talent he was supposed to have in the AFL to me.

Strikes out on a slider early and change later. Both on ugly swings.Called out on bad pitch in 9th for 3rd K of the day. And he blames the equipment in the dugout again. And again, In field, he drops ball on hand transfer spoiling a DP. He is getting to be a bad joke in AFL. But he showed up in the 7th with a liner to the gap. Good for him.

Works a walk in 2nd inning on nice AB. Clears the RF wall for.a HR in the 5th. Then back to swinging at bad pitches to whiff in the 7th.
