On for the 5th. He stands 6'6" 225. Intimidating with mid 90's hard stuff and a 75 MPH Change and and an occaisonal 88 breaking ball. This guy is a RP stud waiting to happen - or in the case of AFL it is happening NOW

High leg kick looks a little off balance on swing to me. Played as a hard pull hitter to LF. Squib to 1b and he doesn’t run it out.

He slips and falls going for a ball down LF line that falls for a ground rule double when he goes down in a slipping heap. He is late on swings at bat too

Up in 1st with bases loaded 2 outs vs Monteverde. Swings through a Fat 91 MPH FB on 3-1. But doesn’t miss the 3-2 pitch in same location for a 3 RBI liner double to LC. Takes a FB up for a strike to end 4th. Not happay with call. Another good AB in 6th but winds up in 5-4-3 DP.

Nice solid swing on fat fastball from Monteverde in 1st is a RBI hit. But he is back to his normal self in 3rd with an IF popup.

In the game in middle innings. He slows down the Rafters big time. Good hard stuff and command of everything. Except for homer by DeVries that wasn’t his fault - it was a good pitch but DeVries is just good. Prosecky gives 4 pitch walk to Rodriguez in the 7th but nothing else over 2 IP. He is one of the 10 best arms in AFL for me.

Getting pitched on inner half a lot by Joyce today. He takes 5 pitches for a 3-2 count. Then fouls off to work a walk on an outside pitch. Nice AB. He isnt a consistent player though

HBP in 1st. Despite a nice 1st 3 innings for his team he doesn’t impress other than fouling off 4 straight with 3-2 count in 4th. But winds up with groundout. He doesn’t stand out but he has some talent

Has a good clean sttroke belied by this looks and feel. He can turn on mediocre FB too lining a double to RF corner in 7th of a tie game. Nicely done. He looks like John Kruk without the hit skill

Lines RBI single to CF on nice guess. Then initiates the delayed double steal going to 2b and making it with the run scoring as well. For a catcher he isnt too bad a baserunner. But he has no chance against Santos in the 4th. And doesn’t impress in any other appearance
