What a quick bat. Impressive even when he misses. Lines foul down 1b line. Viscious cut but good eye takes walk off Joyce in 6th and another walk. He grounds out in 8th not an impressive day overall but obvious raw skills

Late on fastball from Painter then tops a breaking ball for an out in 3rd. In 7th he ropes a ball to gap in LF for a double

Late on 98 from Phillips. Cant hit him at all. I worry about his adjusting to pitching in MLB. Lines a changeup way out of the entire facility but foul. He was early. Takes 98 MPH for K. In 6th he RIPS it hard off the pitcher on a line. Bounces to 3b and he is out. Again, seems to either be pressing or off his timing.

Lines HARD to LF in 1st. Has a nice quick swing. He is too small and not enough Power for 1b. Lines RBI single in 6th to fuel a big inning

Really fooled on change in 1st. Show nice arm on throw to 2B. A a really NICE double off the wall in RF in 7th. A decent bat for a catcher

Not impressed. He has command problems in 1st but changes speed well and gets outs. He is very effective with his arsenal. FB tops at 95 but once past 1st command is his weapon. He drops a change on Salas WOW. 4 IP, 1 hit no walks. Coming back from injury he was pretty good in Texas system. Hmmm

Third straight batter to take Walkinshaw the other way for a single. Nicely done for an RBI. Whiffs after that. Doesn’t appear to belong here with this talent. But he is sound on defense fundaentals as shown on tag play at home in 7th

Pop up in 2nd to lead off. Up again in the7 run inning and hits a hard grounder FAIR down the RF line for a 2 RBI triple. He can hit when he can get to the pitch. Line SHOT at SS for a 6-3 DP - but a really nice swing
