Once again he looks pretty bad in sevaral AB then connects on middle FB for a HR in 6th. In 8th, he walks after fouling off several 94 MPH FB. Not impressed even with a HR today thrown in by him. In 10th, with 2 on and 1 out, he fails

He is really good at making solid contact with balls in hit zone. Singles in 2nd and 3rd today shorter swings. Better contact today with shorter swings.

The clear star of the HR derby with massive and consistent shots. As I have seen the whole time here, he leans back for long stroke which generates amazing bat speed. But can he get to and react to a pitch not In the kill zone? Not against great pitching for sure.

When he hits it - it goes a LONG ways. He skies one that gets deep to RF for out in 4th. His rocking swing is long to the ball but generates optimal bat speed and it goes when he hits it. He can pick it at 3b as he demonstrates in 5th. He takes pitches well the question is can he get to hard stuff with that cut? Or worse yet late break offspeed - his real bugaboo in AFL.
