He is solid in field but not exceptional range costs a run in 6th. His swing Is very ordinary for length and speed. He needs work on pitch recog. He has time as he is just turning 20

Very healthy AB in 1st inning working the count vs Honeywell. His swing is still long but swift and he nearly launches a couple today. Don’t know how long before he gets hurt again, but he looks really good right now. Launches a LONG HR to RF in 7th off Teheran

Looks choppy with glove. A low relay on DP grounder in 3rd is ugly. No chance vs Sandoval at bat going for power shot. In 4th he rips a nice RBI single to LF with short swing I/O. He is not the same player he was a few years ago and that looks to still be true based on today

Throwing FB and CHG today. Allows a scratch run but he looks good. The he loses control with 2 out with everything going very high. Is this a February thing?

In for 5th. He throws FB with good velo. Natural sink? Lots of grounders and ball ducks but cant tell if FB or slider. But it bites and is HARD. He throws it almost every delivery. Two hits off the handle say he gave up runs but he looked good. FG ranks 3rd best prospect for SFG and I can see why

Rips a LINER through the legs of the ump at 3b for a double in 4th. That was one hard hit baseball!

He lays into a FB from Soriano and ropes it into the LC gap for 2 run double. He isnt super athletic but he seems to know how to play.. Could not catch up to Garza in 7th. One to watch

Falls off the mound twisting after delivery. He brings it 97 with strong slider at 94. Throws it by Lopes for big K.Classic sequencing pitches. Could improve upon control in zone. You can see the talent and you can see it needs work

Had a RBI chance in 1st when Fletcher bobbled ball. But he was loafing to 1b and was still thrown out. HBP on wrist in 4th never like to see that in Spring. He isnt a star and effort and focus are part of the reason

Plays LF today. Takes a walk from tiring Honeywell. Then gets picked off. He is off balance against Quizada when everyone else is teeing him up and he whiffs. I'm not big on him.

Swinging late until RBI double in 4th to the LC gap. His bat doesn’t work for me still as he is easily fooled if guess is wrong but he will run into more than a few hits

Tentative cut at offspeed from Honeywell. Was fooled. Takes all of his time to get into box. Clearly following the clock is an adjustment. He strikes out then rips triple rto RC wall for RBI big hit. He has the requisite game to be in MLB but not a star

He is taking good cuts.but swing is long and not quick. Against a crippled Quezada he flies out to track for sac fly. Swing wasn’t great.

He is not looking able to hit MLB pitching right now. Late on all swings vs (at best) low 90's! Gets RBI on ugly swing blooper to LF.
