Big cuts and misses on Manaea offspeed. Then takes the slow stuff for a walk. Up with bases loaded in 5th against new pitcher. Tries to launch it and pops up shallow fly instead. Look for more of this sort of result in 2023 instead of late 2022 stats.

Lines out to track in LF then nearly misses a double to LF (foul) before getting that oppo double he was trying to get before. Sure would be nice to see him use bat control more and swing from heels less

They are giving him 3b line pulled way over. He goes for it on foul. Then inside pitches lockes him up for K. Needs to learn to better adjust plan during AB. Again still going to LF in 5th and this time gets RBI single off Rogers who is not tough on LHH.

He's headed to utility roles plays IF and OF. Hit 374 in upper minors in 2022. Has a nice cut to double off the top of thewall in LF in 2nd. Takes a close pitch 3-2 for a walk. He is a certified MLB caliber talent.

He is looking good in 1st inning other than Thairo Estrada HR. Top velo is 94 sitting 92 with FB. Goes 123 in 2nd. Then another HR by Wynns in 3rd and he starts to look tired, laboring through a long strikeout and a walk. Gets outs thanks to pickoff 3 runs against him

Pitched 6th and the 7th today .He has great command and moving stuff but nothing good enough to blow it by folks. He allows a long HR to Conforto.but gets swings and takes for K immediately after. He seems unflappable and a true junkballer at this point
