Not a hard thrower. Gets offerings up in zone and can get whacked. Pitches 2 innings tonight without allowing a run using command and guile. Lots of batters out in front - his stuff is slow

Reaches for outside pitch in 3rd and drops it into LF for a single. Nice AB. Takes strike 3 in 8th down the middle

Launches long HR to RF in 2nd on very balanced swng. He flies to track just missing in 4th - just a touch late. Hustles on grounders. Fooled on chgups but not on FB. He rips game clinching 2 run HR in 8th - his 2nd of the day! Nice swings

Wow the best 2b play of the AFL when he snags a line drive by Rincones and picks off Scott at 2b after. WoW put a star on that one. He has shown steady glove in AFL but now he is moving up a level. Led off after the catch vs Choate at flies to CF. Strikes out with 3 on, 1 out in 6th on ugly AB

Gets the groundout but form is bad as he lifts foot as sizzzler gets to him. In 7th he makes a gold star play on ball from hole looking sound. Then drops a routine IF popup in 5th. At plate he is not on top of FB from Guilfoil. But he is right on a FB by Sauer for a 2 run HR to LF. He has above average bat speed when he get arms extended

Cant field the chopper in front of plate in dirt as C. Allows a hit. Throws are strong but off line. At plate he looks weak even including flyout to track in 3rd

Nice AB in 3rd. After down 0-2 takes a well placed low fastball on RBI liner to LF. Off handle bloop single in 4th. He can make contact with great pitch recog

He's been impossible in AFL to get out but a lot of it is just the ability to make contact. No hits today. I don’t think he is a star bat but you cant argue with a hot bat

Good batting style again taking a 4th inning walk by Bednar. Blocks balls in dirt very well.

He doesn’t get much by batters. Defense issues allows 2 runs in 1st though. He is not terrible, not impressive. Gets outs in 2nd on low pitch swings. Good form stressless

SP in this one, he allowed 5 singles in 1st inning and only 1 was hard hit. He has good lateral movement on pitches tonight but less so horizontally. He gives up 5 runs on 10 hits in 3 innnigs. Oufh

Surprisingly good FB works off the offspeed stuff getting Nunez and Cairo to look at it. The most puzzling to me is why the Rangers have been trying to SP this guy. He looks like an obvious closer to me

On for 8th/9th throwing 98-102 and keeping batters off pace with 83 MPH change. Faces Dunn with 2 on base and gets him to K. Nothing allowed through the 123 9th for the save. Impressive with ex command he is the bullpen breakout star of the AFL now standing alone atop the ERA with a 0.00
